Success!

Big Success with Kids Night Out!  Thank you for the 5th Grade Team and the Volunteers at Kids Night Out! The 5th Grade Team was able to raise around $550.00 or more!    We also would like to thank McDonald's for donating their drinks and Russo's Pizza for making us a deal on their pizzas!  Hope to see everyone at the next event!

It's official! GSES Partners in Education (P.I.E.) group at the last P.I.E meeting voted to become a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) group! With many benefits such as volunteer training, accountability, 501 (c) 3 non-profit status and FREE workshops on topics such as bullying, health & nutrition, homework & learning, safety and more! The Glenwood Springs Chamber is hosting their 25th Annual Issues and Answers Forum this Thursday 13th. at 6:00 pm at the Glenwood Springs City Hall.  The schedule is 6:00-7:45 - CMC, 7:45-8:10 3E Roaring Fork School District Mill Levy, 8:10-9:00 Roaring Fork School District Candidate Forum.

This is an opportunity to ask questions.

Why:   Fundraiser for the Kinder Team - Co Sponsoring with P.I.E

Kids Night Out! - Movie, Pizza, Drinks, & Desserts Provided

P.I.E is bring back our Kids Night Out movie nights!  This year we are offering to each team an opportunity to join us as a co-sponsor to earn funds for field trips, etc. - What ever the team would like to spend their money on.

Dates will be reserved for each team, first come first serve basis.  The dates are Sept 30, Oct 14, Nov. 4, Dec 2, Dec 16, Jan. 13 and Feb. 10.  Movie, pizza, and desserts will be provided.  Pre-registration is $10.00 per child or $25.00 per family.  At the door $15.00 per child $30.00 per family.  Ages are Kinder through 5th grade. 

Save the DATE for Sept 30th 6-9 pm at GSES in the Cafeteria!  - Kinder Team is Co-Sponsoring with PIE
Movie:  Rio (rated G) - Look out for the flyers in your kiddos back-packs!  This FUNdraising is also open to the community!
